Liz will be teaching the process of hand-knotting/hand ventilating for beginners. In this webinar, we will be making a Closure/Topper in a color of your choice. Delia will be teaching the process of making a head mold to accommodate various head shapes for larger pieces. Liz and Delia from ‘A Few Grey Hairs’ teach everything they know regarding hair replacements, wigs, and extensions in a series of live webinars on zoom. Liz and Delia have more than 80 years of experience between them. They will hold your hand on a step-by-step tutorial of all the ‘tricks of the trade’.
Delia will be teaching the process of making a head mold to accommodate various head shapes for larger pieces such as Toppers.
Course Syllabus
Course content is as follows:
- Estimated 4 hour power point presentation along with a live demonstration of the step by step process of making the 3 different hair extensions applications.
- Detailed explanation of the different hair types (looking under a microscope). Understanding the hair follicle.
- How to harvest fine, normal and course hair from your clients on an ongoing basis.
- Storage and documentation of donated hair.
- The introduction of Backabuddy and the Hairs With Love campaign
- Explanation of how the campaign works and what is expected from each participating hairdresser.
Section 1: Taped Extensions
- For the first time ever we teach a gentle application and method of Taped Extensions especially good for ultra fine hair types.
- Starting at the end we will demonstrate the application process and the reasons for this new method of taped extension.
- Step by step procedure of making Taped Extensions, using the contents of Kit 1.
- Thickness of the amount of hair when preparing Extensions.
- Demonstrating application and removal
Section 2: Tubed Extensions
- Demonstrating step by step the process of making tipped extensions.
- Thickness of the amount of hair when preparing Extensions.
- Demonstrating application and removal
Section 3: Keratin Bonds
- Demonstrating step by step the process of making keratin bond extensions.
- Thickness of the amount of hair when preparing Extensions.
- Demonstrating application and removal
- Tried and tested Do’s and Dont’s
- Price list explanation which can be adjusted to accommodate price increases in the future.
